SBA Announces 6 Promotions

Steffian Bradley Architects (SBA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Theresa Harris, AIA, NCARB, EDAC, LEED AP BD+C to Principal. Harris has been with SBA for 4 years in her previous role as Associate Principal, serving as a senior healthcare planner and architect for SBA and SBA’s strategic planning group Sterling Planning Alliance. Theresa takes pride creating patient centered designs, which incorporate all desired criteria, even when that task seems impossible at the outset. Theresa was recently published in Healthcare Design Magazine for her article on “Renovation Experience Reimagined”.  Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from University of Michigan.
 

Eddie Widofsky AIA, LEED AP BD+C, MCPPO has been promoted to Associate Principal. He has been with SBA for 3 years in his previous role as Senior Associate. Widofsky has over 20 years of experience working throughout a range of market sectors including academic, municipal, and healthcare projects. A teacher at heart, he has continually mentored high school students who seek a career in the AEC industry, the last 8 years as a member of the industry advisory board for Hartford High School’s Academy of Engineering and Green Technology.  The Academy has partnered with a non-profit organization to design and build solar panels and wind turbines, providing sustainable energy to schools and health clinics in remote Himalayan villages. This fall, he will serve as the project manager for the team of students, who are undertaking their 4th project in Nepal. Widofsky holds a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Southern California.

Tony Miniscalco, AIA, LEED AP has been promoted to Senior Associate. Miniscalco has been with SBA for 5 years in his previous role as Associate. He has 20 years of experience and has gained expertise in a variety of project types including healthcare, corporate-commercial, residential, and elderly housing developments. Miniscalco volunteers as a student mentor and reviews architectural portfolios at area schools. Tony is also an active member of SBA’s corporate culture committee. Miniscalco holds a Bachelor of Science in Design and Engineering from University of Central Florida and a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
 

Ariana Baird, has been promoted to Designer/Manager. Baird has been with SBA for 4 years in her previous role as Design/Drafter II designing interiors for various healthcare projects and is currently working on the Putnam Hospital emergency department expansion project in Carmel, NY. Baird holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Radford University.

Tyler Harriott, has been promoted to Design/Drafter II. Harriott has been with SBA for almost a year in his previous role as DDI. He has worked on a range of project types including municipal and healthcare projects. He is currently an ACE Program Mentor who helps educate students from local high schools about potential careers in architecture, engineering and construction. Harriott holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University.

Tim Pranaitis, has been promoted to Design/Drafter II. Pranaitis has been with SBA for 6 months in his previous role as DD1. He serves as SBA’s sustainability co-chair and helps lead the firm’s commitment to the energy reduction of SBA’s projects through the AIA 2030 Commitment. He is currently part of the project team responsible for the design of the Hybrid OR/Cath Lab at Tufts Medical Center which will be the first of its kind in Boston, MA. Pranatitis holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University.
